SILENCE, specifically the silent killer - cancer. Therefore, Dedicated to my late stepfather who lost a very short battle with cancer in 2020. My soundtrack is Sound of Silence, the remake version by Disturbed (originally written by Paul Simon). All my photos are black and white, I feel that black and white photos make a more dramatic, powerful image especially for a topic like this. I utilized Photoshop and Lightroom for editing and I used iMovie to make the slideshow. I wanted to emphasize the darkness of the shadows while also brightening the highlights of each image, causing the dramatic effect to really stand out. For the silence itself I will be showing images of things that have no sound, empty roads, graveyards, hanging/dying trees, emptiness just anything to do with sorrow and silence.
